My heart is heavy. A beautiful religion is being turned into something else. A young woman was slaughtered by unrepentant perpetrators. And some people cannot see the wrong in this but justify it as the consequence of blasphemy. In this day and age?
Feminism is often used in the context of fighting men for control, but I do not share this view. Feminism, to me, is a fight to live exactly as I wish, with no barriers. If you are looking for total submission from another human being like yourself; please, simply go into a toy store and buy yourself a life-size doll to marry instead of a woman. You will save yourself and the unfortunate woman a lot of headaches.
Haaaa! Africans, especially Nigerians we all seem to be talking a lot about mental health and issues surrounding it but I fear that most of us are only paying lip service to this subject.
