I have written so many posts about the wonderful natural herbal powder for treating skincare problems straight from Africa called African Camwood Powder.
Today, I want to show you another way you can enjoy the many benefits this red healing powder can do for your skin. It is Camwood Oil, a simple infusion process that delivers amazing benefits.

How to make Camwood Oil
Camwood Oil Ingredients:
- African Camwood Powder
- Carrier Oil of your choice (Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, or Hazelnut Oil)
- 1 glass jar
- Measure African Camwood Powder out to take up about half of your glass jar (make sure it is sterilised).
- Cover the Camwood Powder completely with the carrier oil of your choice Almond Oil, Castor Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil, Olive Oil, or Hazelnut Oil).
- Use a wooden stick or ladle to stir the mixture thereby releasing the air bubbles.
- Screw the lid on the jar and cover it tightly.
- Place the jar in a warm, but not too hot, location, the sunny atmosphere will be very good if available.
- Remember to label the jar with the date the infusion starts.
- Leave it for 4-6 weeks or longer if you wish.
- Simply sift out the infused oil and discard the leftover Camwood Powder.
- Store in a cool dry place out of bright light once drained out.
- The expiration date is the same as the expiration date of the carrier oil used.
