Halloo,

I just want to remind you that in this trying time please find a balance in your life. The world is practically at a standstill, don’t take for granted that your mental health is picking vibes unconsciously. Please protect it.

Many people talk about all the different organs of the body but pay little or no attention to their brains. The essential organ in our body that keeps us functioning. It has a powerful influence on our well-being. Do all you can to protect it.

To those of us who are naturally recluses, we may not find this compulsory stay at home too hard. Those who are very outgoing will struggle. They are made to be up and about. Understanding who you are and thinking creatively about how to get yourself through this incarceration without going into depression and anxiety is important. Please give this a good thought.

I am not an expert on mental health but I am experienced as having gone through it. Let me make it clear to you that once you go into depression you can never completely get out of it. It is always lurking around the corner waiting to rear its head. You will have to work really hard not for it to appear again. That is why it is important to not let it get to you in the first place by doing all in your power to give yourself a healthy life balance.

Do what makes you really happy. Take time out to just relax. Listen to uplifting music. Dance like no man’s business. Draw, paint, do puzzles, and play board games. Pray. Meditate. Do yoga. All I am saying is do what relaxes you. If you don’t know what you like, what better time to find out than now? Just do something for you.

Please stay away from avoidable stressful situations. Yes, life gets difficult sometimes through no faults of ours, yes, we may fall, but a good robust and balanced attitude towards life will make getting up easier.
