Halloo,

Please, please, please permit me to show off a little. I think I have earned the bragging right. I really have.

I hereby introduce you to my award as A WOMAN OF SUBSTANCE for my entrepreneurial activities and contributions to the community in Ireland.

By now you all know me, I celebrate everything, I mean everything, nothing is too small to be celebrated. I make a huge deal out of everything. I shout out every progress and every little milestone reached.

This is important to me. I have to celebrate each step because I am not like everybody else. My special circumstances make it impossible for me to work as effectively and fast as others. I am limited in what I can do. And I know I am not alone in this. There are millions of people all over the world fighting invisible illnesses, this celebrations is for them. A reassurance that we can do it.

This is an award that really touched me. It came from a woman I greatly admire and look up to. To be honoured by her this way means a lot to me.

Seyidah Basirah Subair Olaogun is a woman to reckon with in all ramifications. She is not about talk, talk, talk. She follows her words with actions. Her religious beliefs show in her way of life. And what is more important she has utmost respect for other people’s beliefs. A rare trait in Women in leadership these days.

Honestly, I am more than grateful for this award. It represents so much to me that I cannot even begin to explain. I do what I do not for awards or recognition. But the burning desire to make a difference. So when my effort is noticed, I am convinced that the change I desired to make is already happening.

Honestly, which of God’s favours can I deny? None, my people, I say NONE.

I got a lot of support from people I don’t know, People I have never met. People who knew me too stood by me. God made this possible.

To those who buy Natural Skincare Products from Ruka’s Place, may you never want for good things in your life.

To those who read my Blog Posts, thank you. Invisible Illnesses will not come near your doors.

My fellow Warriors, dealing with one invisible illness or another. May the good days be more than the bad days.

Those who take time to share my Blog Posts on their pages. I pray you meet support every where you go.

Those who pause and type comments, I appreciate you. My prayer is that your life be filled with joy.

To those who click likes. Thanks a lot. May all your heart desires be fulfilled.

This woman appreciates you all.

Stay with me,

Ruka
