My firm belief is that the best remedies are the simplest ones.

I have no idea how some folks do it; adding like 15 ingredients for just one remedy. I get tired from reading their lists of ingredients so you can imagine me now getting all those ingredients together to make a product…. tiring, I tell ya.

Black Soap Mix


Anyway if you are like me and enjoy keeping it simple. Then, here is a simple Daily Soap Mix that will help clear those facial spots and give you a youthful glow.

 INGREDIENTS FOR THE BLACK SOAP MIX

African Black Soap–50g
Citric Acid–1/2 teaspoon
Camwood Powder–1 tablespoon
Honey–25g
Turmeric Powder--1 tablespoon

Black Soap Mix For Removing Spots





HOW TO MAKE THE BLACK SOAP MIX

  • Take a pestle and mortar
  • Grind the Citric Acid into powder form
  • Cut the black soap into pieces and add to the citric acid powder in the mortar
  • Pound to mix
  • Add your Turmeric and Camwood Powder
  • Pound to mix again
  • Then add the Honey
  • Pound together again to mix
  • Check to make sure all the ingredients are well combined.
  • You can mould your Black Soap Mix into any shape you want. I chose to shaped mine into a ball, check pictures above and below.

      Thanks for the great feedback, it is truly appreciated. You can make a paste with this by adding aloe vera juice or rosewater to a consistency you are happy with.

  10. Update on the blacksoap mix. I can say it has really done its magic on my face. Spots not all gone yet but my face is way much clearer and better than before and am looking forward to a more clearer face as i continue with it.
    Please any recommendation for a good face moisturiser?

    1. Hello, citric acid shouldn’t darken the skin. But if you are worried, just take it out and use the other ingredients. Thanks.
