Halloo,

A while back a customer of mine bought Fractionated Coconut Oil from me and she was of the opinion that I sold her fake coconut oil. She said it doesn’t smell or look like coconut oil at all. I had to explain to her that there are different types of coconut oil and fractionated coconut oil was made this way for some reason.

Fractionated Coconut Oil can be more understood by the way it is produced, which is by separating coconut oil fatty acids for different uses. So it is a fraction of the coconut oil with medium-chain fatty acids.

This makes it a saturated oil that is highly stable, and with long shelf life.
