We all want a happy life, fact!
Then why not look for a simple way to create happiness? I am talking about simple things that bring inner-peace and calm your soul.

Most of the things we think will help us achieve happiness are not really relevant at all.
We want money, nice cars, nice job, live in a really beautiful house, go on fancy holidays… All good things no doubt, and they do make life easier.
Why wait though? Why not live in the present. Enjoy what you have now while waiting for the other things.
You could buy the whole world now and still not be happy. So real happiness is not about those material things.

I am a work-in-progress, so my journey to seek happiness is ongoing. But one of the discoveries I have made so far is not to project my happiness on material things but to create moments of happiness.
It is a collection of those moments that gives a happy and contentment feeling.
You see I love nature, and I love taking pictures and videos. My soul just sings when I am Close to nature and capturing it on camera. So I make an effort to do more of these as often as I can.

So my moments of happiness are created when I go to where I can be close to nature and take pictures and videos of beautiful things around. And I do these with my children and we take pleasure in sharing our discoveries. Check here for one of such journeys.
May not be much to many people but this is pure joy to me.
The Euphoria I bring back from these little journeys can last days. And on particularly rough days I look at those pictures and videos again and re-live the wonder and beauty of mother nature. Pure happiness.
All these without spending too much money.
So why don’t you take some time off and dig into your soul to find out what it wants? Leave the noise behind, find a quiet place and really dig deep.
You will not only find what your soul wants but if you dig deep enough you may also find yourself.
I think it is important to find what your soul wants and embrace it. That is where you will truly find your happiness. To me this is the essence of self-love, to find yourself so you can love yourself properly.
Remember, this is for you and your inner peace, so anyone’s approval is not needed.
